Dr. Shakira is renowned Pakistani scientist and working as senior scientific officer at National Institute of Genomics and Advanced Biotechnology (NIGAB). She is considered as authority on Probiotics in Pakistan. She is Principal investigator of Development of Indigenous Probiotic Feed Additive Products to Improve Productivity of Dairy Buffalo in Cost Effective Manners. Probiotic Association of Pakistan is her brain child to promote idea of healthy diet and fight against antimicrobial resistance.
